 In one of the royal college of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI)Membership examinations (MRCPI ) Part II ,my examination answer papers were mislaid by the college officers,the director of the exam fabricated two contradictory stories ; in two separate letters, explaining the papers wasting. As a result, I lost trust in the whole college system. I repeated the exam and the result was reported as"fail", as reported by a letter from the same director of the exam. Wary of the internal workings of the college exam system,I pursued a court case(a legal proceedings called discovery of documents) that compelled the royal college to disclose all the internal documents relating to the conduct of the exam,the marking process,the internal memoranda and the minutes of the meetings. I amassed nearly two hundred pages of documents relating to the whole affair; see the court affidavit sworn by the royal college in the appendix chapter which consists of twenty pages displaying just the titles of these documents.

   These documents(displayed on this website and appear in chapters,each will appear by clicking each of the blue boxes on the right) clearly show that the college officers repeatedly mislay/waste the candidates' answer papers and fabricate the marks to cover for it. I have a document that shows that the examinees' names are; sometimes, left on the answer written papers for the correcting examiner to take note of. In addition, mixing up the clinical exam reports(marks) of the candidates seems to be occuring.

When challenged to account for the obvious irregularities,the culprit inner circle of the college; who apparently established a parallel college, deviously flouted the appeals regulations and flagrantly swapped my appeal documents destined to the council for consideration. In effect, they deceived the council of the royal college of physicians of Ireland ( to see click the blue Box/chapter 9 on the right) to prevent my complaint from progressing(as per the college appeals rules) to an investigation by an independent committee that would have ultimately exposed these dubious practices .It seems that the lack of respect to the rules within the college was a cause and result for an internal conflict and infight between different factions of the fellows within the college, that led to the current turmoil in RCPI

  The fluency by which those senior officers carried out their corrupt practices and the manner they rallied to cover it up is an indication that these practices are part of an established culture in the royal college exam process. The inner core officers repeatedly deceived the college council by swapping documents destined to the council. To this date (the year 2013) every adminstration of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland very nervously refuse (Despite tens of requests) to adhere to the appeals rules or conduct any formal investigation into the whole affair for fear of the repercussions.See also the new information under PS in chapter one.

  My solicitor Bowler Geraghty Co (whose office is only half a mile away from the college premises) betrayed me, very suddenly and suspiciously halted the court case despite initially agreeing to set for a court hearing date. Furthermore my solicitor refused to allow any other solicitor to proceed with the court case. So I decided to put the documents in the public domain for the sake of public interest since the same college officers who sponsored those corrupt exam practices are currently(the year 2012) in full control of the exam process and no doubt they continue to rig the exam marks as previously.
